Seek First, then Everything Follows

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

There is a quiet pressure in the world that says “Secure everything first, and then you’ll be okay.”

But God gently flips that script. He doesn’t say chase money. He doesn’t say chase security.

He says: seek Me first.

Not second. Not when things are stable. First! Because provision isn’t something you fight for. It’s something that flows from alignment.

When your heart is set on God, your steps begin to line up, your decisions become clearer, and doors open that you didn’t force.

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about trusting deeper, even when it feels uncertain.

Even when the numbers don’t make sense. Even when the world says you should be worried.

God is not asking you to ignore reality. He’s asking you to anchor yourself above it. Because when you seek Him first because everything else finds its place.

Little Prayer to go with it.

Lord,

Help me to seek You first in everything I do. Not out of fear, not out of pressure, but out of trust.

Teach my heart to rest in Your provision, even when I don’t see the full picture yet.

Align my steps with Your will, and remind me that I don’t have to chase what You’ve already prepared for me.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
