We all want the healthier body, the peaceful home, the easy finances, the clarity, the confidence, the no-more-chaos version of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So why when we finally start making progress do we suddenly hit a wall?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why do we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cmess up\u201d a budget we were sticking to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>binge when we promised ourselves we wouldn\u2019t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>destroy our routines just as they were working<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>start fights out of nowhere<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ghost opportunities we prayed for<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>run from blessings that feel too good<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not because we\u2019re weak. It\u2019s not because we\u2019re lazy. It\u2019s not because we don\u2019t want it badly enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s because\u00a0the mind protects what it recognises\u2026 even when what it recognises is destroying us. Let\u2019s break that down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Self-Sabotage Is a Safety Pattern, Not a Failure Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your brain\u2019s number one job is survival! Not success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So when you start changing your life, your brain panics like \u201cTHIS IS NEW. NEW IS UNKNOWN. UNKNOWN IS UNSAFE.\u201d That\u2019s why growth feels scary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your mind doesn\u2019t know yet that \u201cbetter\u201d is safe It only familiar. So you sabotage to return to what feels normal. Not what feels GOOD and  what feels FAMILIAR. Because familiar feels safe\u2026 even when it hurts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is why trauma survivors, especially, struggle with glow-ups. Safety and suffering often feel the same inside the nervous system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The Old You Fights the New You!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every glow-up has a voice inside that whispers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cThis won\u2019t last.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cYou always fail.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cWho do you think you are?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cOther people can change, not you.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That voice isn\u2019t actually you. It\u2019s the old identity. It\u2019s the old patterns protecting themselves. It\u2019s the old environment screaming to stay alive. Your glow-up threatens the version of you that learned to survive chaos. So the old self fights back. But the new self? Oh.\u2026 they&#8217;re stronger than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. God Doesn\u2019t Remove the Sabotage. He Rewires the Root<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus won\u2019t just yank away our bad patterns like weeds. He goes to the ROOT, because sabotage isn\u2019t the real problem. It\u2019s the SYMPTOM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The root is usually one of these:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fear of failure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of success<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of disappointment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of losing people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of not being enough<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of being seen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So when God heals you, He doesn\u2019t say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTry harder.\u201d He says \u201cLet Me show you who you really are.\u201d Because when you know your identity, you stop sabotaging your destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. The Scarcity Mindset Is Psychological and Spiritual<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Scarcity says \u201cThere\u2019s never enough. I must protect myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God says: &#8220;I am your Provider. There is always enough in Me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psychology calls it threat perception. The Bible calls it unbelief. Same thing, different language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And when God begins to heal you, He rewrites your inner script from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m alone\u201d to \u201cI am supported.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI must hustle to survive\u201d to \u201cHe goes before me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGood things don\u2019t last for people like me\u201d to\u00a0\u201cSurely goodness and mercy follow me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THAT is when sabotage loses power. You Don\u2019t Fix Self-Sabotage. You Outgrow It<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t logic your way out of sabotage. But you can outgrow the version of you that needed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Through repeated evidence that the new life IS safe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through small wins that build self-trust.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through nervous-system peace instead of pressure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through God showing up for you consistently.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You outgrow sabotage when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>healing becomes familiar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>stability becomes normal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>peace becomes expected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>blessing no longer feels scary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your nervous system learns  \u201cWe\u2019re safe now. We don\u2019t need the old patterns.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Your Glow-Up Is Spiritual Warfare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The enemy doesn\u2019t care about your skincare routine. He doesn\u2019t care about your budgeting app. He doesn\u2019t care about your meal prep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He cares that you are becoming the healed, clear, powerful, God-rooted person you were always meant to be. So sabotage is often a sign of\u00a0breakthrough, not failure. If you feel resistance then good! It means that you&#8217;re close!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. The New You Is Already Emerging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You know how I know? Because instead of collapsing into your sabotage\u2026 you\u2019re\u00a0learning about it. You\u2019re observing it. You\u2019re ready to break the cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awareness is healing. Insight is healing. Truth is healing and the moment you say \u201cThis isn\u2019t me anymore.\u201d! That is when the  patterns begins to die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Word: God Is Rewriting Your Entire Internal World<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are not who you were even a month ago. Your spirit is changing. Your thinking is changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your habits are changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your identity is changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God is updating your internal software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re leaving survival mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re entering freedom mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the new you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The new doesn\u2019t sabotage!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You BUILD!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You RECEIVE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You THRIVE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You GLOW!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let yourself RISE!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We all want to glow up.
