{"id":376,"date":"2026-04-04T00:32:02","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T00:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lumadaily.com\/?p=376"},"modified":"2026-04-04T00:32:03","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T00:32:03","slug":"easter-saturday-devotional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lumadaily.com\/?p=376","title":{"rendered":"Easter Saturday &#8211; The Day Heaven was Silent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Matthew 27:59\u201360\u00a0(ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u201cAnd Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud and laid it in his own new tomb\u2026 and he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Easter Saturday is the day that doesn\u2019t get talked about enough. Friday was loud.Sunday is victorious. But Saturday? Saturday is quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus is in the tomb. The disciples are confused. Hope feels buried. From a human perspective, it looks like everything failed. But heaven?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heaven was not panicking. God was still working\u2026 just\u00a0out of sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the day that mirrors so many of our own lives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The prayers that feel unanswered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The promises that feel delayed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The silence that feels like absence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But this day teaches us something sacred:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just because God is silent doesn\u2019t mean He is absent. Just because you can\u2019t see movement doesn\u2019t mean there isn\u2019t transformation. The tomb is not the end\u2026 it\u2019s the setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday is the womb of resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What looks buried\u2026 is actually being prepared for breakthrough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Reflection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Where in your life feels like \u201cSaturday\u201d right now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That space where:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ve trusted God<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ve surrendered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But you\u2019re still waiting\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That place is not forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s&nbsp;held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Prayer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the quiet and the waiting, help me trust You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I don\u2019t see movement, remind me that You are still working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When things feel buried, remind me that resurrection is coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give me peace in the silence and faith in the unseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teach me to rest in Your timing, not rush ahead in fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even in the \u201cSaturday\u201d seasons of my life\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I choose to believe that Sunday is on its way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Jesus\u2019 name,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amen. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matthew 27:59\u201360\u00a0(ESV) \u201cAnd Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud and laid it in his own new tomb\u2026 and he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.\u201d Easter Saturday is the day that doesn\u2019t get talked about enough.
