Psalm 56:3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I’m afraid, I put my trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s something beautifully honest about this verse\u2026 it doesn\u2019t say \u201cif\u201d I am afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It says\u00a0\u201cwhen.\u201d Fear isn\u2019t failure. It\u2019s part of being human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even\u00a0David, who wrote this psalm, wasn\u2019t sitting in comfort when he said it. He was surrounded by enemies, under pressure, uncertain of what was coming next. His world wasn\u2019t calm\u2026 but his\u00a0decision\u00a0was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I am afraid\u2026 I will trust.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not \u201cI\u2019ll panic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not \u201cI\u2019ll spiral.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not \u201cI\u2019ll try to control everything.\u201d He made trust his reflex and that\u2019s the quiet power of this verse. It\u2019s not about eliminating fear but more about\u00a0redirecting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fear becomes a doorway and a signal. It feels like a holy nudge that whispers:\u00a0\u201cCome closer. Trust deeper.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t need to have it all figured out today. You don\u2019t need to silence every anxious thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You just need this one move:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When fear shows up\u2026 place your trust in God anyway, even if your hands are shaking while you do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because trust isn\u2019t the absence of fear\u2026 it\u2019s choosing God\u00a0in the middle of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When fear rises in me, when my thoughts begin to race and my heart feels unsteady, remind me that I am not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your Word says that when I am afraid, I can put my trust in You. So today, I choose that. Not because everything feels easy, but because\u00a0You are faithful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calm my mind, Lord. Steady my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help me release what I cannot control and place it into Your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where fear tries to take over, fill that space with Your peace. Where anxiety speaks loudly, let Your truth speak louder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I trust You with today. I trust You with tomorrow. I trust You with what I cannot see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
