It wasn&#8217;t anything dramatic nor did I feel panicked. It was just this strange feeling of falling in to an old default feeling and confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My clarity was gone. My sense of authority felt diluted. My energy was being pulled outward instead of anchored inward. I found myself orbiting someone else\u2019s needs, timelines, and plans and slowly losing touch with my own God-given path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then it hit me. God is not the God of confusion. That single realisation snapped everything back into place. Because the moment confusion is present, something is misaligned. And when misalignment is named, its power collapses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is what freedom in Christ actually looks like. Not striving, not fighting, not fear, but&nbsp;discernment followed by peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Confusion Is a Spiritual Red Flag<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Confusion isn\u2019t neutral. In Scripture, confusion is consistently linked with disorder, distraction, and a lack of peace. God\u2019s leading may stretch us, challenge us, even take us into unknown territory, but it does not strip us of clarity, identity, or inner authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When confusion creeps in, it usually sounds like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cWhy do I feel scattered?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cWhy does this feel heavy instead of peaceful?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cWhy am I losing sight of my own calling?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cWhy am I organising someone else\u2019s life instead of building mine?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those questions aren\u2019t weakness. Thats&nbsp;discernment knocking and discernment isn\u2019t loud. It doesn\u2019t scream. Misalignment rarely shows up as obvious darkness. It doesn\u2019t arrive waving red flags or causing instant chaos. More often, it comes dressed as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>urgency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201chelpfulness\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>instant solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>quick money<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>grand plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It whispers,&nbsp;\u201cYou don\u2019t need to worry anymore. I\u2019ll take care of this.\u201d And if you\u2019ve carried pressure for a long time, that offer can feel incredibly safe. But safety that pulls you away from your God-given direction is not provision. There was no fight. No emotional battle. No spiralling. No warfare mindset. Just clarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The moment I recognised the confusion for what it was, which is&nbsp;not from God, the weight lifted instantly. I didn\u2019t have to rebuke anything aggressively. I didn\u2019t have to strive. I didn\u2019t have to fix the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I simply returned my trust to God and peace followed immediately. That\u2019s how you know it\u2019s real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">God\u2019s Peace Doesn\u2019t Need Effort<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest misconceptions in faith is that spiritual authority looks intense, but it doesn\u2019t. Authority in Christ feels calm, secure, unbothered and grounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus didn\u2019t spend His life in panic or defence mode. He walked with quiet certainty, clear boundaries, and deep trust in the Father. The good news is, the same posture is available to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freedom in Christ isn\u2019t about constantly fighting darkness. It\u2019s about&nbsp;knowing you don\u2019t have to and the work has already been done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trust Is the Foundation of Alignment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>At the centre of this entire experience was one simple truth. Where trust goes, direction follows. The moment I placed trust in human control instead of God\u2019s timing, confusion entered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the moment I returned trust to God, clarity returned and that\u2019s the foundation and not the perfection, performance or the hustle, Its simply trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God\u2019s provision doesn\u2019t always arrive instantly,  but it always arrives with peace and the timing is always perfect. Anything that promises immediate relief at the cost of alignment will eventually demand far more than it gives because that&#8217;s how the enemy gets in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discernment Is a Gift, Not a Burden<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Discernment is not fear, suspicion or hyper-vigilance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a quiet internal knowing that says \u201cThis doesn\u2019t carry God\u2019s signature.\u201d And the moment you honour that knowing, you\u2019re free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not later, Not after consequences. Not after damage. It happens almost Immediately, and that my friend is grace!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Freedom in Christ Feels Like Relief, Not Pressure<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s an important marker that often gets overlooked. If something is truly from God, it brings peace even when it\u2019s challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if something produces:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>urgency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>confusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>loss of self<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>loss of clarity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pressure to act quickly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>it deserves a pause. God does not rush, he doesn&#8217;t coerce, nor does he confuse. The truth from God steadies and grounds us and his alignment restores us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Power of Naming What Isn\u2019t Yours<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>There is profound authority in simply saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This isn\u2019t my responsibility&#8221;, or &#8220;this isn&#8217;t from God&#8221;. Naming doesn\u2019t empower darkness. It dissolves it. No fights, no spiritual warfare. All is dissolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because once something is seen clearly, it can no longer masquerade as truth and when truth returns, so does peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rest Is Not Retreat.  It\u2019s Trust<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most radical acts of faith is rest. Not avoidance, denial or hustle, but a good confident rest knowing God is working it out. When you rest, you&#8217;re showing god you are not panicking, rushing, and you trust him enough to stay aligned. That&#8217;s not weakness. That is actually maturity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Thoughts: Peace Is the Proof<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re feeling confused right now, don\u2019t condemn yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask instead:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where did my peace go?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What pulled me off centre?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What am I carrying that isn\u2019t mine?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And then sit with God long enough for the answer to surface. You don\u2019t need to fight, strive or try to figure everything out. You just need to return to the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because&nbsp;God is not the God of confusion&nbsp;and the moment you recognise that, freedom follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hallelujah<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For a few days, I felt off.
