The Chains Are &amp; How to Break Them."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Let me start with the verse Christians love to weaponise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cFor the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.\u201d <\/em> -1 Timothy 6:10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you catch that? It doesn\u2019t say&nbsp;money&nbsp;is the root of evil. It says the&nbsp;love&nbsp;of it. The obsession, the idolatry and the desperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Money itself is neutral. Jesus talked about money constantly. It was not to shame people, but to&nbsp;set them free. So let\u2019s clear something up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Money isn\u2019t the villain at all. The bondage, shame and the spiritual warfare that comes from it is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, today my friends, we\u2019re breaking those chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You\u2019re Not Greedy. You\u2019re Trapped, so Let\u2019s Get You Free.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve ever fought with debt, impulse buying, emotional spending, or financial guilt, here\u2019s the truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This doesn&#8217;t make you greedy, careless or irresponsible. In fact what it does say is, you are coping, you are overwhelmed and need healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>Proverbs 22:7<\/strong> says it plainly: <strong><em>\u201cThe borrower is slave to the lender.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> God isn\u2019t exaggerating on this one. Debt&nbsp;really does feel&nbsp;like slavery. The shame, pressure and fear creates constant noise in your mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most overspending isn\u2019t about money at all. It\u2019s about pain, exhaustion, loneliness, survival mode, and trying to feel worthy for even 10 minutes, yet people preach shame instead of healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s the good news. God does not shame you into financial freedom. He shepherds you into it because he&#8217;s a loving god.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Money isn\u2019t evil! The Chains Are! #money #biblicaltruth #faith\" width=\"563\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YEUxKlAnPkA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consumer Culture Is Spiritual Warfare (Yes, Really)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Scripture says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cYou cannot serve both God and money.\u201d<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Matthew 6:24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notice again, it does not say \u201cyou cannot&nbsp;have&nbsp;money,\u201d but that you cannot let it become your master and sadly consumer culture is designed to do exactly that. It&#8217;s designed to pull your heart, attention, and identity in every direction except God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because if the enemy can\u2019t steal your salvation, he will gladly&nbsp;steal your peace. A financially trapped Christian is spiritually exhausted. A spiritually exhausted Christian is distracted. A distracted Christian is quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s spiritual warfare and isn&#8217;t something you can fix with a budget sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why You Overspend (The Truth Nobody Preaches)<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s talk heart-level reality here for a moment. Overspending is rarely financial issue. It\u2019s almost always an emotional reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even Jesus said  <strong><em>\u201cWhere your treasure is, there your heart will be also.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> <strong>-Matthew 6:21<\/strong>. This is about&nbsp;alignment, not condemnation. It about asking \u201cWhat story is my spending telling about what I\u2019m afraid of, longing for, or trying to soothe?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This verse isn\u2019t a rebuke. It\u2019s a diagnosis which reveals what spending reveals about what actually is hurting on the inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cI feel unsafe.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI feel behind.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI feel empty.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI feel invisible.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And this is when the purchase becomes <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>comfort<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>escape<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>momentary peace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re not buying things. You\u2019re buying breath and once you understand that, shame loses its grip and the grip of shame is what we need to lose. God doesn&#8217;t shame his children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Money isn\u2019t evil! He\u2019s Delivering You.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Psalm 23:1 says:<\/strong> <strong><em>\u201cThe Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This verse isn\u2019t about having a full bank account. it\u2019s about breaking the&nbsp;spirit of lack&nbsp;and the lie that says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cI\u2019ll never get ahead.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI don\u2019t have enough.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cEveryone else is doing better.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lack is a mindset the enemy plants to keep you small, but God invites you into partnership, not panic, because in &#8211;<strong>Proverbs 16:3<\/strong> it clearly states <strong><em>\u201cCommit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Financial peace isn\u2019t about perfection, it\u2019s about&nbsp;who&nbsp;you walk with. He exposes your patterns not to punish you, but to free you. Awareness: \u201cWhy am I reaching for this?\u201d<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Start your healing with honesty. Let God shine light gently and pray on this verse. This verse explains that god reveals himself to the humble. Not the &#8220;impressive&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThe unfolding of Your words gives light.\u201d<\/em>  -Psalm 119:130<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Identity: \u201cMy worth comes from Jesus, not my purchases.\u201d<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>You cannot buy your way into peace. You&nbsp;receive&nbsp;it when you&#8217;re open and willing to surrender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Stewardship: \u201cShow me how to be faithful with what I have.\u201d<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Proverbs 21:5 <\/strong>reminds us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThe plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is God\u2019s version of budgeting slow, steady, intentional and gentle. This verse affirms&nbsp;planning, structure, stewardship, and wisdom. Not hustle culture which is what we have ingrained in to us or self reliance and shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Community: Bring it into the light.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Shame thrives in secrecy. Freedom thrives in truth. Be honest with yourself and those who are your nearest and dearest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Declare Deliverance<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p> Declare this before the lord loud and proud. \u201cLord, break every chain of lack over my life.\u201d and stand on his promise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cMy God will supply all your needs according to His riches.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> <strong>-Philippians 4:19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there on, you no longer have to stand on the promises of your job, the economy, or your past mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are now standing on His riches. His provision. His care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the most important part, HIS LOVE and Protection. You are aligned with the king of kings himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final word<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Just remember. Freedom is your birthright in christ. Money truly isn&#8217;t the root of all evil like we have been told, it&#8217;s the chains around it that we need to break. God doesn&#8217;t want you to be poor. He is the god of love and blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And you, my friend are stepping into a new chapter. One that is marked by clarity, peace, abundance, and holy stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not hustle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your future is not debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your future is not chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your future is not survival mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your future is&nbsp;light.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let me start with the verse Christians love to weaponise: \u201cFor the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.\u201d -1 Timothy 6:10 Did you catch that?
